Description
Aston Martin DBR1 evocation.
Designed and produced by Mills Extreme Vehicles (of Exocet fame), this Aston Martin DBR1 evocation is a real beauty.
This example was built and IVAd in 2014 and is correctly registered as an MEV Replicar on age related plates. The glass fibre body and its custom chassis are bolted to a 1989 Mazda MX5 Mk1 1. 6 power train unit. This version of the Mazda power unit puts out about 110/ 115 bhp as standard and can easily be tuned to 150 bhp with a cam, skim and ITBS if required. Personally I find the car a lot of fun with the stock power (it weighs just over 700kg), and don't see the need to tune it.
The engine has been reconditioned and the engine and car has just north of 7000 miles on it at time of writing this advert.
The car is fitted with 15" spoked wheels with 3 ear spinners (a LIMIT spinner removal tool is included) and is shod with period looking 175/ 70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres.
A fabric car cover and spare headlamp covers are included in the sale.
This car is great fun to drive and draws attention wherever it goes!
MOT till July 2025.
There is a scratch on the near side rear wing and some paint chips.
The car is open topped and has 0 doors.
