JC Wyvern
Only 50 of these were ever manufactured by a Company in Hereford from 1983 to 1986. They were highly rated with a superb GRP (fibreglass) body & well manufactured heavy duty chassis. All running gear was Vauxhall based.
This particular car is Vauxhall Magnum based with a 2. 3ltr HC (High Compression) engine, twin Strombergs & 4 speed gearbox.
Car was purchased in 2019 as a restoration project. It was totally stripped down to chassis, which is in excellent condition with no rust. Chassis was sandblasted, cold galvanised (zinc) painted, then chassis black painted.
During the rebuild just about everything was stripped, checked over & where worn replaced. New & replaced parts are listed below. Engine was completely stripped checked over, bearings renewed & rebuilt. Bores showed minimal sign of wear.
Front “Anti-Roll Bar” fitted off a Jensen Healey.
Wheels are “Pepper-Pot” from a mini, shod in new tyres.
New Stainless Steel Bumpers
Tonneau cover included, plus soft top frame.
Car has been professionally resprayed in metallic grey. Exact colour will be provided prior to sale.
Car is correctly registered in my name as a JC Wyvern, registration date 1974, Same as donor vehicle.
Registration number alone is valued at £2k.
Car is currently on a SORN.
Only selling as I've recently purchased another two restoration projects & don't unfortunately have sufficient space.

Plus lots more. Probably the best JC Wyvern there is. Car was bought to use but Covid slowed it all down, & I get more satisfaction from bringing a car back into use, than eventually using it. Plus two other restorations are being undertaken. Car is SORN but I've tried it out on private road & it's quick. Car is Tax, MOT & ULEZ exempt, plus mileage limited insurance very cheap.
