Description
1929 Austin Seven AD Tourer (Chummy). Unrestored, still with original engine, crank, rods, floor plan, body, registration number etc. Not for restoration!
Looks like a fabric bodied car from a distance because the paint is so cracked. Solid car that works well, ready to use but to make concours you would need to restore everything.
Comes with widescreens that are difficult to see out of and a good hood.
Starts and drives well. Won PWA7C driving test 2023, used for a few road runs each year. Would go 10mph faster of the wheels were properly balanced.
Current owner since 1998, selling to make space. I bought the car in 1998 because it was a solid straight original car. I have used the car on may road runs but only covered about 6000 miles in 26 years. Car still solid and original.
Ideal car for visits to the pub/ chip shop/ B&Q. Anywhere not to far when you are not in a hurry.
