VW beetle 1962 manufactured in October 61 .
Recently restored original engine new pistons and rings fitted by a vw engine builder last year .
New exhaust and stainless steel exhaust pipes fitted .
Stainless steel bumpers fitted made in the uk .
Stainless steel body mouldings .
Stainless steel Hub caps .
12v 90 mm dynamometer fitted ,
along with 12v electronic coil and distributor made by Pertronix . The coil has been painted and a bosh stick put on to give it the original look but it’s still Pertronix.
Along with pertronix HT leads .
Total refurbished 28pict 1 carb .
Under the engine lid a just Kampers suppression system fitted for safety.
4 brand new tyres fitted this year .
A complete set of 4 oil shockers also fitted .
All brake pipes replaced for new last year .
And fuel pipe from fuel tank to engine replaced .
master cylinders two front wheel bearings done .
Heavy duty best quality running boards fitted .
New oatmeal carpet set fitted .
Wolfsburg patterned sill covers fitted .
Bambus parcel shelf fitted last month .
Complete correct colour tmi interior just done door cards and seat covers .
Rosenthal rare flower vase was bought from Germany. Also rare 100, 000 kilometre saint Christopher badge .
And very sort after Hella fan fitted .
Sapphire Retro Sounds Radio . Still has the delivery badge on the dash.
New window seals front . Back and sides .
New window scrapers and trim .
LED lights fitted all round including indicators.
New under bonnet cover just bought from just campers .
I have fitted a 12v electric washer bottle for the windscreen as original one that runs off the tyers don’t work very well they never did. On the drivers side rear wing you will see a rare wini pig Canadian delivery badge . And metal bonnet script badge . There is also a AAC storage net just not fitted it and a AAC cup holder / phone holder magnetic .
The car is stored In the Garage winter months and only gets driven in the summer or when it’s dry .
There is also a binder full of history and receipts booklets and also I purchased the birth certificate from Wolfsburg.
Included will be a German not aftermarket wooden lat roof rack .
All the 6v system that was fitted to the car and a Bosch working 6v battery will be given with the car . I have fitted a tmi head liner but its not the best I think it would be better with a cloth one being fitted by a professional .
New cloth headliner on order from Sewfine in America. Expected in 4 weeks time .

i have just paid £500 for the headliner including import taxes it will come with the car but installation will be down to the new owner .
All in all runs well has a smooth ride .
Theres probably jobs I have done that I forgotten about. Also comes with few extra spares .

Info the tube under the engine lid is a fire suppression system bought from just Kampers . Used in the air cool world for safety.

Please note the car was first registered in the uk in 1969 after spending 7 years in South Africa before the first owner how purchased it from VW in the uk returned back home to Kent . So log book Reflects this . However I have all documents and birth certificate that clearly states it’s a 1962 car . And the chassis number and engine number reflects this too .
