Powerful, voluptuous and comfortable, the 928 was one of the best production cars in the 80s and is now appreciated as a car that stands out from the 911s. Only 1, 366 examples of the GT were produced, all fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox, it develops no less than 330bhp thanks to revised camshafts and reaches 275km/ h while doing 0/ 100 in 5. 9sec! The car we are offering you has undergone a number of recent mechanical and cosmetic repairs at a cost of almost €20, 000. The timing chain was replaced in September by a specialist in the model. An inspection at Porsche was carried out in October and no major defects were found.

The carpets are in very good condition, as is the roof lining, which has been given a facelift. Many hours of work were required to restore all the electrical controls and instrumentation.

The hi-fi system has also been the subject of attention, with the restoration of the speaker grilles, the installation of Focal speakers and a Blaupunkt set identical to the original but incorporating Bluetooth.
Mechanically, the car starts easily, without noise or smoke. The sound is subdued and perfectly in keeping with what you'd expect from a GT. A complete overhaul has just been carried out to give the future owner peace of mind for the next few kilometres. The gearbox guides perfectly, and the oil has just been changed, as has the axle. The clutch, transmitter and receiver are also new. The vehicle has the original PSD option, which acts electronically on the autoblocker.
Various seals have been replaced to ensure that the engine/ gearbox assembly is watertight. The running gear has also been extensively restored, with the replacement of tyres, wishbones and ball joints. The steering is pleasant and precise, thanks in particular to the replacement of the rack and pinion.
As for the suspension, it is firm but comfortable and wonderfully smoothes out the irregularities of the road, just like the best saloon cars of the time.
