This beautifully presented car also has overdrive, which makes it a pleasure to drive. It has been in the owner's possession for several years now, and has been properly looked after and maintained in a specialist garage. A complete repaint was carried out a few years ago. It now has a beautiful patina and the bodywork is in impeccable condition. When we put it on the deck, we noticed that there was no corrosion on the chassis and underpinnings. The chrome is shiny and the car is fitted with chrome wire wheels in good condition. The interior is fairly well preserved. The light blue upholstery with beige piping shows a few signs of wear, as does the dashboard. The door panels are well presented, as is the carpet. The car has a blue tonneau cover and a grey fabric soft top, both in good condition. The instrument panel is functional. As previously mentioned, the car has an overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear. This was removed and repaired in 2019. Additional insulation has been fitted in the passenger compartment for greater comfort. As for the mechanics, the follow-up is impeccable (file of invoices). The last routine maintenance was carried out in July 2024 (engine oil change, replacement of filters, greasing and replacement of defective silent blocks). A complete carburettor adjustment was carried out.
Numerous expenses have been incurred, the most significant of which include: - replacement of the fuel pump and water pump - replacement of the brake master cylinder - replacement of the exhaust silencer - installation of a second fan - rectification of the valve seats and valve stem seals - removal and replacement of the carburettors (standard exchange) - complete overhaul of the gearbox - replacement of the dynamo with an alternator - overhaul of the electrical system The car has a circuit-breaker and two new batteries.
