Ducati 900 Superlight 1996, MKV model with a worldwide production total of just 309 produced and only 45 officially imported to the UK, that's a lower number than the mk1 version units. the last of this production line before the model changeover, with 5 former owners, in delicious red coachworks, a fresh mot on the 11/ 07/ 24 with 17, 438 miles ( this number will go up slighty as i like the odd ride now and then ) displayed on speedometer.
New timing cambelts replaced in February 2022, spark plugs, shell advanced fully synthetic oil with Ducati filter change, 2 x tyres with less than 200 miles!, the petrol tank has been chemically cleaned plus Por-15 rust proof paint added for peace of mind, also a new petrol tank internal fuel & mesh filter along with the fuel pipe, a pair of new period correct mirrors, seat & pad replacements along with brand new paintwork throughout, most nuts, axle, bolts and brackets replated for that new look.
The carburetor was removed stripped & cleaned, battery cables upgraded with high capacity ones, the airbox's complete.... shock horror! , new rectifier in 2020.
Ducati Performance Carbon cans for that wonderful soundtrack moment, Optimate battery charger lead attached for those winter months, manual book & two keys.
Confirmation from the Ducati factory that it's a genuine 96 superlight with the build date, also a bill of sale from the previous owner, where he purchased it from the Woods Motorcycle dealer back in 2006, plus other service paperwork.
