1974 DUCATI 750 GT
These much sort after Ducati's are getting rather hard to find these days, especially an original UK model, date of first
registration 1st May 1974. The 750 GT was Ducati's first attempt at building a "superbike" back in 1971, production continued until late
1974. During which time another iconic bike was created, the late Paul Smart won the Imola 200 in 1972, an astounding feat considering the Italian firm had only been making v twin bikes for 2 years. Towards the end of the GT production run, the 750 ss known as a green frame, was released. They are the most desirable bevel drive twin ever built and command price's way above six figures.
Our Ducati 750 GT has had an amazing nut and bolt restoration, the majority of the work was completed by our good friends at Made in Italy Motorcycles, with invoices from them totaling an astonishing £18, 000.
The attention to detail is second to none, it rides as well as it looks and has been enjoyed on a warm sunny evening now and again.
We will be sad to see the GT go, but as the old saying goes, you cant keep them all !!!!
We are always keen to hear from anyone who knows anything or has had any history about this or any bike we have for sale. Please do not hesitate to get in touch, it would be really great to hear from you.
