Description
For sale is my 1927 Morris Oxford Dr’s Coupe with rear dicky seat. The car has been in my family for over 50 years and is a very original, running and driving example. The car has seen regular maintenance and is always kept ready to drive at a moments notice during the summer months. It’s currently sat on 4x brand new tyres and has had some recent upholstery and paint work completed. The rear section of the vehicle was professionally resprayed approximately 18 months ago, with a receipt to evidence the £4000 bill. The hood has been restored with a brand new canvas and interior headlining. The original interior bench has been recently reupholstered, however maintaining the original bench and springs for originality. The gearbox and diff oil was replaced at the start of the year. Engine oil is drained and replaced every couple hundred miles and will be brand new upon sale. This is the higher powered 14hp model that comes with 4 wheel brakes as standard, which gives you confidence to drive the vehicle in modern day traffic. The engine is very original with no major work to document from the last 50 years of ownership. Magneto rebuilt within the last couple of years by a specialist. The vehicle lives in a very dry garage and is a very solid example. Please contact me for any enquiries.
