Offered for sale is an extremely rare Lancia Beta Montecarlo Series 1 (LHD) in green. These vehicles were produced in a limited numbers, during the Lancia Beta Montecarlo’s history, and as a result are very unique. The later S2 Montecarlo’s were not offered in green, and so there are only a handful of these cars left in the World.
The Lancia Beta Montecarlo is extra special, in that it’s been cared for to the highest standards throughout its life. As a result, the bodywork is in exceptional condition, and has never been welded. The interior and paintwork are in outstanding condition, having only covered 63, 000km in
The former owner spent 2 years improving the Lancia Beta Montecarlo, which included deep rustproofing. Whilst this sounds relatively easy, the former owner went to the trouble of seam sealing all the folded seams using high quality 3M 2-pack seam sealer, and had the panels repainted. This prevents rust from forming within the panel seams, which was very common on the Lancia Beta Montecarlo’s
In addition, the former owner carried high quality sound proofing and numerous upgrades. This includes the installation of uprated suspension, including polyurethane bushes, coil-over shock absorbers and fully powder coated suspension parts.
Other upgrades include an expensive high ratio 5th gear, as the original ratios was too low for modern high-speed driving. The gear linkage has also been replaced, giving a clean and crisp gear selection mechanism.
The Lancia Beta Montecarlo has sublime Alpine stereo system, fitted to Focal and Pioneer speakers.
