Description
Series 3 For Sale
1972
2. 25 petrol.
Original Marine blue.
Limestone steels and Avon Rangemasters.
New Exmoor Trim rear hood.
Electronic ignition (easy to start and no timing to worry about).
New alternator.
Rear fold down seats.
Original seats (driver’s side has some tears, but cheap and easy to replace if you want to).
Used weekly for the last five years, and has never let me down.
Drives really nicely with no vices, and brakes are good.
Free-wheeling hubs.
Wipers and heater work as they should.
New door tops last year.
4WD system all working as it should.
Chassis original, but in good order.
Speedo stopped working this summer and I haven’t had chance to get it fixed yet.
A nice example of a very unmolested and very original S3, with lovely patina, and very strong engine that doesn’t use oil.
MOT and tax exempt.
Garaged for the last five years.
One job I was planning on doing is getting the wheels sand blasted and re-painted, as there’s some light surface rust showing in places, but only cosmetic.
I’ve been as honest as I can, and the vehicle is priced for a hassle free sale.
Reason for sale is I’ve bought another Land Rover and am needing the space.
Please, no time wasters. I don’t have a lot of spare time.
