Description
This is my Landrover that I have had professionally restored 4 years ago. I bought it in 2019 from a private seller in the South of UK and through social media managed to contact the other previous owner who was a blacksmith located in Fishguard South Wales. I had a complete restoration carried out by Tamar County Cars a Landrover specialist in Cornwall UK. As well as a galavanised chassis and complete bare metal respray I added a number of performance upgrades a Stage one Kit from ACR including a tubular exhaust and performance silencer, SU carburetor and K&N Air filter, along with an upgrade to the ignition system, plus a new roam drive overdrive unit. The Landrover can easily keep up with modern traffic even at motorway speeds. It's an original county from the factory and started life as a press demonstrator registered by Landrover, Solihull in Coventry Warwickshire hence the WK reg. It was then shipped to A. G Wilson a Rover dealer in Wakefield on loan. It left the factory on the 6th of May 1982. The MOT history backs up the mileage and I have no reason to think it's not genuine 46, 000 miles. I have a 400 photograph record of the restoration and all bills covering the work. The landcover is a real useable classic I have drive 10, 000 miles in since I have owned it over the last five years, including the NC500 in Scotland and several trips to Cornwall, South Wales, and Brighton towing a classic caravan belonging to my father. Its a great looking vehicle and starts conversations where ever you go in it.
