Description
The Land Rover brand embodies the design and production of off-road vehicles like no other. The shortage of steel in England in the post-war period encouraged the use of aliminium, which was available in large quantities as many military aircraft had been scrapped. The first Land Rover was shown at the Amsterdam Motor Show in 1948. These vehicles were to ensure the survival of the Rover company. Nobody could have imagined the global success of the four-wheel drive vehicle, built until January 2016. The 3rd series, from 1971, can be recognized by the headlights, which were now mounted in the wings. In the mid-1970s, more than 56, 000 units were built each year.
Our Land Rover Series III with 88-inch wheelbase is a convertible with hardtop and rear-wheel drive. It was probably first used by the Belgian military. It came to Germany via Holland and has been registered there since 2005. This Land Rover is characterized by its good technology, the top underbody and a correct and good interior. The paint is NATO olive. Take a look at this honest, classic Land Rover.
